The Five Basic Skin Types and Their Characteristics

18 Aug 2015 Posted by Kirsty Barany in Blog

As a leader in revolutionary Stem Cell Skin Care, RxGenesys takes an active interest in promoting holistic and sustainable skin health. In addition to providing fast-acting and effective Stem Cell Skin Care Products, we’re happy to provide informative guides and resources regarding your precious skin.

Today, we’re highlighting how to recognize the five main skin types almost everyone experiences but may not be able to identify. This can go a long way towards recognizing and treating any unique skin problems.

Oily Skin
Oily skin is shiny skin, especially in the T-zone (from the forehead, down the nose to the chin). You may have enlarged pores, and you may be prone to blackheads and breakouts due to the overproduction of the sebaceous (oil-producing) glands. The good thing about oily skin is it ages better than dry skin because the oils keep the skin plump allowing fewer wrinkles to form. Many young women have oily skin but as they age, they may find their skin becomes more dry, especially after age 35.

Combination/Normal Skin
Most women have combination, or “normal,” skin. Combination skin means you may have a slightly oily T-zone and drier cheeks with dry patchy spots here and there. You may also have larger pores on your cheeks and possibly your forehead. This skin type has medium pores, a smooth and even texture, good circulation and a healthy color.

Dry Skin
Dry skin feels tight, especially after cleansing. You have a tendency towards fine wrinkles, flaking and red patches. In women of color, skin may appear ashy or dull from dead skin buildup.

Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin tends to be thin, and delicate with fine pores. If you are easily irritated by the sun, certain cosmetic products and if you are prone to redness, itchy patches or blotchy skin, you likely have sensitive skin.

Aging or Sun-damaged Skin
This skin also feels tight with visible wrinkles, slack skin tone — especially around the cheeks and jawline — with leathery texture and broken capillaries.

Issues like these are why RxGenesys is so passionate about our Stem Cell Skin Products and their ability to improve your skin’s condition and appearance. To learn more, call us at 855.792.3288 or email info@rxgenesys.com.

Tips for Maintaining Healthy and Gorgeous Skin

18 Aug 2015 Posted by Kirsty Barany in Blog

It goes without saying that RxGenesys is committed to promoting the healthiest and youngest skin imaginable – that is why we provide revolutionary Stem Cell Skin Care solutions backed by the latest in science and technology. In addition to our innovative line of Stem Cell Skin Care Products, here are some other ways to promote skin care.

Avoid or Quit Smoking
Studies have consistently found a link between smoking cigarettes and premature wrinkling. Not engaging in this habit thus goes a long way in preventing this leading cause of early wrinkles (not to mention other health problems).

Avoid Chronic Sun Exposure
It is widely known that too much exposure to sun radiation can lead to varying kinds of skin cancer. Even in less extreme causes, too much sun can also cause skin to dull, roughen, or become uneven. It is vital wear broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect against both UVA and UVB rays even on cloudy days. Reapply every two to three hours for optimal protection.

Keep it Simple
It is tempting to load up on all manner of skin care products now available on the market. But putting too much stuff on your skin can have a counter-productive effect, especially if the ingredients include harsh or synthetic chemicals. RxGenesys Products use only a handful of key and potent natural ingredients to promote skin health that is effective and friendly to your body.

Live a Balance Life
Like your body as a whole, your skin benefits from a healthy lifestyle. Eating lots of whole foods (especially fruits and veggies), getting good exercise, and sleeping at least seven hours a night will altogether help keep your skin young and healthy. A few studies have found that meditation, yoga, and exercise not only increase skin regeneration and blood circulation (which helps the flow of nutrients to the skin), but also reduce stress, which can take a toll on skin health.

Use RxGenesys
Our Stem Cell Skin Care Products are scientifically formulated to revitalize the skin through its own natural regenerative methods. By renewing the skin down to the molecular level, it ensures the most sustainable and natural way to obtain young, vibrant, and healthy skin just a few weeks.

Skin Care Tips to Achieve Your Best Skin Ever

18 Aug 2015 Posted by Kirsty Barany in Blog

The key to maintaining youthful skin is by adhering to a proper skin care regimen, and incorporating RxGenesys’ incredible Stem Cell Skin Care Products into your daily skin care routine is guaranteed to bring you lasting results. The most basic approach to a proper skin care routine consists of cleansing, moisturizing, and protecting.

Step 1: Cleansing
First and foremost, you need to find a good cleanser. The RxCleanser is a great option; it works for all skin types and consists of the added power to not only clean your skin, but to target and eliminate wrinkles using its scientifically-proven formula.

Cleansing Tips:

  • Be careful not to cleanse too often or you risk drying your skin. With the RxCleanser, you only need to clean your skin once in the morning and once before going to bed.
  • To cleanse skin, most women prefer the water method: Use warm water to loosen dirt and clogged pores. Apply the RxCleanser gently with your hands, sponge, or wash cloth, then rinse off with cool water.
  • Skin purists believe tap water is bad for your skin because it contains harsh minerals and additives like flouride and chlorine, and therefore use thermal water. Whichever you use, make sure it is never hot water, just lukewarm.
  • Pat your skin dry, don’t rub.
  • Make sure to remove eye makeup with a proper makeup remover. The area around the eye is delicate so don’t pull or rub too hard. The RxCleanser is also formulated to remove eye makeup so you don’t have to buy an extra product!

Step 2: Moisturize

A basic rule of beauty is that if you have dry skin, you should invest in a basic moisturizer. The best time to apply moisturizer is after you’ve removed all dirt and debris with your preferred cleanser.

Moisturizing Tips:

  • Use the RxMoisturizer on your face and neck in the morning, while paying special attention to the area around your eyes and lips where it can get excessively dry.
  • Starting in the center of the face, apply our RxMoisturizer up and out to give your face a bit of a lift. Let the créme penetrate for 30 seconds, then apply evenly to face.

Step 3: Apply Sunscreen

This step is pretty straightforward. Our products do not contain sunblock to maximize their effect and penetration, but we do recommend the use of sunblock after applying the RxGenesys system.

18 Aug 2015 Posted by Kirsty Barany in Blog

If you’ve been searching for a skin care product to get the younger, smoother skin you’ve always wanted, look no more: RxGenesys’ Stem Cell Skin Care Productsare guaranteed to get you results. The effectiveness of this unique and scientific approach to skin care speaks for itself: check out the amazing Skin Care Results of several happy clients who have used our Stem Cell Face Cream.

Ranging in age from 36 to 74, our subjects came from a variety of lifestyles and experiences, yet all of them saw incredible improvement during their clinical trial. In fact, it often took no more than two weeks – if not sooner – to see clear results.

“At the beginning I couldn’t believe my eyes! When I was asked to try this system I had just finished my Chemotherapy, my skin was completely destroyed! I had lost all hope of having a nice skin ever again,” says Paula, a 60-year-old tennis player and cancer survivor. “Then I started my RxGenesys daily routine and I started seeing results immediately, but I never imagined results so impressive like the ones I could see in my before and after pictures. If RxGenesys worked for a hopeless skin like mine, it should work miracles on anyone else’s.”

Mother of two and outdoor enthusiast, Lisa, also has a few words to say about our product: “Miracles do exist! As the mother of a newborn, sleep has become a faint memory, my eyes were looking tired and wrinkled, not to mention the horrible dark circles. When I started using RxGenesys I stopped using a super expensive “serum” that was supposed to do “miracles” for my tired looking eyes…

Well what a surprise I got a couple of weeks after I started using RxGenesys, people were asking me if my baby was sleeping better, well sadly that hasn’t changed YET, but seems like my face is telling a different story.”

How does it all happen? Well, unlike other skin care products, RxGenesys supplements your body’s own natural production in order to regenerate your skin and keep it young and healthy. Because these stem cells naturally decrease with age, our formula stimulates this mechanism at the molecular level, cleansing and illuminating the skin naturally. We’re certain that you won’t find a more reliable, cost-effective, and proven treatment for optimal skin care.

A Rundown of the Amazing Ingredients in Our RxCleanser

04 Aug 2014 Posted by admin in Blog

RxGenesys’ leading Stem Cell Skin Care products are composed of the finest ingredients that work in perfect harmony to refresh and soothe your skin gently but effectively! The RxCleanser is the ideal blend of the following ingredients…

Deionized Water: Deionized water is found in many skin care products because it acts as a natural solvent in many cosmetics. Deionized water can also form emulsions with vegetable oils to form the desired texture for lotions. Deionized water undergoes an additional step of UV filtration, which eliminates bacteria and viruses, for truly pure water.

Cocamidopropyl Betadine: Cocamidopropyl Betadine is derived from coconut oil, among other things, and acts as a surfactant in skin care products. A surfactant is a compound that lowers the surface tensions between two liquids or between a liquid and a solid, acting in the form of a detergent that allows water to wash oil and dirt off your face. This ingredient has a foaming property and is great for your skin because of the deep clean it allows for, as well as the soothing moisture it provides your skin.

Glycerin: Glycerin is known for its intense hydration of skin, and thus moisture is the number one benefit that this ingredient provides. However, glycerin is also effective at protecting skin as a result of its ability to deeply hydrate skin and fill in gaps in dryer skin patches, keeping your outer layer of skin intact so that it acts much like a barrier.

Camelia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract: Camelia Sinensis extract has powerful antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic properties. Some of the major effects of green tea extract are anti-aging and UV protection, slowing down visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles.

Panthenol: Panthenol is an alcohol processed by the body to create Vitamin B5. Panthenol is a humectant, which retains moisture deep within skin tissue, for long lasting hydration. Panthenol is the perfect ingredient for soothing dry or irritated skin.

Citric Acid: Citric Acid contains very powerful antioxidants that stimulate collagen production and restrict free radicals that seek to damage your skin! The benefits of citric acid are plenty, including skin lightening (to treat unwanted age spots), reducing fine lines and wrinkles, minimize appearance of scars, and increasing collage production (to minimize or slow down visible signs of aging).

Hydroxyethylcellulose: This ingredient is mostly used as a preservative, binder, and thickening agent in beauty products. Hydroxyethylcellulose is used mostly because of its solubility in water, which allows our RxCleanser to apply easily to the skin and have a lasting effect, remaining on skin.

Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media Extract: This ingredient refers to human stem cells, a powerful and popular anti-aging factor. Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media Extract stimulates the growth of proteins, and when accompanied by Vitamin C (found in citric acid in our cleanser), it provides major additive effects for collagen production, again leading to firmer skin and less visible signs of aging.

Human Adipose Stromal Cell Conditioned Media Extract: This ingredient has the ability to release potent angiogenic molecules (which rebuild the body’s vascular system). This also works as a remedy for aging because the vascular system is how the skin receives nutrients, amino acids, essential fatty acids, protective antioxidants, and oxygen. By rebuilding the vascular system, your skin will receive more of these essential nutrients, and voila: Human Adipose Stromal Cell Conditioned Media Extract’s anti aging properties are unlocked.

Phenoxyethanol: Phenoxyethanol works as a preservative, killing bacteria and stabilizing formulas, making said formulas safe and gentle to use.

Ethylhexylglycerine: Ethylhexylglycerine serves many purposes, as a natural preservative, deodorizer, a surfactant, and even as a skin conditioner; providing an array of benefits for the skin.

Fragrance: This ingredient is important mainly to create a soothing and refreshing scent as you use the RxCleanser, providing a sense of indulgence.

Celebrities’ Bizarre Anti-Aging Treatments

31 Jul 2014 Posted by admin in Blog

When it comes to having beautiful and younger-looking skin, many women will go to great and rather unconventional lengths to get that perfect glow. Especially women in the public eye. If you like following celebrity culture, you’ve probably heard that some women have tried, and swear by, some really bizarre skin care treatments. If you haven’t, hear they are:

1. Bee Venom Facial
This increasingly popular skin-care treatment is strictly for the bold, bee-autiful, and rich. The theory is that the venom tightens your skin by pumping up collagen, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

2. Vitamin IV Drips
Simon Cowell told GQ that he swears by these nutrient infusions, which include B12, magnesium, and vitamin C, but can vitamin intravenous (IV) drips really give you more of a boost than a healthy diet and appropriate supplements can? Probably not, says Charles A. Bollman, MD, who stopped offering these beauty treatments at his practice about four years ago. “Plus, [IV drips] are expensive and take 45 minutes, twice a week,” he points out.

3. Vampire Face-Lifts
For this anti-aging beauty treatment, a $600 to $800 in-office procedure performed only by physicians, your blood is spun to separate out the plasma from the red blood cells. “Plasma is used in a purified form to be injected into the skin of the person that donated the blood,” explains Harold Lancer, MD, a dermatologist in private practice in Hollywood, Calif.

4. Ceramic Crystal Therapy
In this unusual anti-aging treatment, ceramic crystals are injected into your face to make you look younger. These crystals are considered permanent and though that might seem like a good thing, experts say it carries its own set of complications. Overtime, our face changes a lot and you lose volume, after which the particles can become evident.

5. Bird-Poop Facial
More than a century ago in Japan, geisha and kabuki performers used a face-cleansing routine that included nightingale excrement to remove heavy lead-based face paint. The droppings have enzymes to break down the skin cells or cleanse the skin, but don’t worry- the treatment uses dried, powdered, and sterilized nightingale feces.

Most dermatologists would not recommend these unusual treatments, however. A proven and much less costly skin treatment for you to try are our RxGenesys Stem Cell Skin Care Products. For more information on Stem Cell Skin Care, contact us by calling 1-855-792-3288.

8 Foods For Healthy Skin

28 Jul 2014 Posted by admin in Blog

With all the research and studies out there on nutrition, it probably comes as no surprise that the foods you consume also affect the health of your skin. Below are some of the best skin treats you can eat that will give you a boost of glowing good health to your complexion:

1. Canteloupe
Cantaloupe is not only nutritious — it can actually protect the skin against sunburn and can also reduce inflammation, thanks to the vitamin C found in the melon.

2. Pomegranate
Pomegranate gives natural protection from the sun. In addition, the powerful fruit can help lower “bad” cholesterol.

3. Tomatoes
Before you head out into the sun this summer, slather on the SPF 30 and cook up some juicy tomatoes! Packed with the antioxidant lycopene, consuming cooked tomatoes may protect your skin from sunburn.

4. Kiwi
Kiwis, blueberries and sweet potatoes are all loaded with vitamins C and E, which can help protect against sun damage. One study found that those with diets with more vitamin C tended to see less wrinkles and dry skin, O Magazine reports.

5. Green Tea
Sipping green tea — or even applying it to your skin — could have great skin care benefits. The polyphenols it contains have been shown to protect the skin from harmful UV rays, according to a study in The Journal of Nutrition.

6. Spinach
The leafy green of Spinach contains lutein (also found in kale) which helps with skin hydration, according to Everyday Health.

7. Buckwheat
Before you pay for expensive botox treatments, Glamour suggests giving buckwheat a try. This seed contains rutin, which aids collagen and elasticity in the skin.

8. Wheat Germ
Rich in zinc, consuming wheat germ may aid in the making of new skin cells, according to Dr. Oz. Wheat germ may also act as an anti-inflammatory, the good doctor found.

RxGenesys’ revolutionary Stem Cell Skin Care Products enhance the body’s natural skin regeneration process, which is itself boosted by eating healthy. For more information on Stem Cell Face Cream, contact us by calling 1-855-792.3288 or email info@rxgenesys.com.

Regular Exercise Can Benefit Your Skin

24 Jul 2014 Posted by admin in Blog

We at RxGenesys are passionate about your skin, taking an active interest in promoting holistic and sustainable skin health. In addition to providing fast-acting and effective Stem Cell Skin Care Products, we’re happy to provide informative guides and resources regarding your precious skin.

Everyone knows working out regularly has numerous physiological and mental benefits that keep you feeling great and looking great- Well, its also really good for your skin, too! After a bit of exercise, your skin is flushed from more than that healthy sweat you just worked up. Below are five ways working out benefits your skin:

1. Exercise makes you sweat. Sweat purges your body of toxins that can clog pores and plague your skin with pimples and blemishes. “The body only has so many mechanisms to rid itself of toxins — the kidneys, the liver, and the skin,” says Sandra M. Johnson, MD, a dermatologist with Johnson Dermatology in Fort Smith, Ark. “Exercise increases blood flow to the skin, increases neuronal stimulation, and allows the sweat glands to increase their functions and rid the toxins.” Always shower after a workout to prevent bacterial or fungal infections that may occur from dirt clogging up your pores.

2. Exercise tones your muscles. The more toned you are beneath your skin, the healthier your skin will look and feel. The stronger and firmer your muscles are, says Johnson, the more support your skin will have, and the more firm and elastic it will appear.

3. Exercise boosts oxygen and blood flow to the skin. Studies have shown that regular exercise boosts blood flow enough in type 2 diabetics to help reduce the risk of skin problems that lead to amputation. Exercise gets the blood flowing, and that increased blood flow carries more oxygen to the skin. The boost in blood flow and oxygen to the skin cells also carries nutrients that improve skin health, supporting all the effort you make with moisturizers and other skin care products on the skin surface.

4. Exercise eases stress. Exercise has long been known as a great way to relieve stress. Those mind-body benefits may extend to your complexion. Though studies are small, some show that stress may worsen, if not actually trigger, acne. Stress may also trigger flare-ups of psoriasis. It’s known to boost hormone production and suppress the body’s ability to heal, but regular workouts can keep stress — and possibly hard-to-manage skin conditions — under control.

5. Exercise gives your complexion a beautiful, natural glow. When you exercise, your skin begins to produce more of its natural oils that help skin look supple and healthy. While that can naturally moisturize skin, remember to cleanse your face gently as part of your skin care routine when you shower to prevent any breakouts.

Make exercise, coupled with our incredible Stem Cell Face Cream, your secret skin care ingredient for a young, healthier, and smoother complexion. For more information about our products, contact RxGenesys by calling 855.792.3288 or email info@rxgenesys.com.
